Exciting News!

I have been working the past few months on getting an account set up with MODA, and it has finally happened!

We have received a few shipments from MODA this week and I am tickled.

I love them, and can't wait for more!

Headbands

I was a little bored this weekend.

So I decided to try THIS tutorial for Headbands.

So serious.

I can't pull of the serious look. I end up just looking mad.

I actually made 3 headbands, but I can't show the first one.

Let's just say it was a prototype :)

I think they are adorable! And the tutorial was super easy!

The one I am wearing is made from the Poppy Collection. The fabrics used in it will be on sale until Saturday.

These two prints would be great for any project, not just a headband.

Simple and Cute

The Dress.

Oh yeah, and the little girl :)

I used THIS Tutorial for the dress, and added my own little flair.

The body of the dress is out of Modern Flora in Brown, a fabric from the shop.

And the trim is Huevos in Gray, also in the shop.

They will both be on sale for $7.50 per yard until Saturday!

Rainy Days and Mondays

We have had a little rain here in Idaho, and that is perfectly fine with me.

This new collection landed on my doorstep this morning, and it couldn't have been at a more perfect time. I think spring is right around the corner.

Better Late Than Never

So remember before Christmas

(yes, that would be almost 3 months ago)

when I promised to post pictures of the blankets I made my kids.

Yup, better late than never, right?

Here is my son's. His room is cowboy themed and I love how his "blankie" turned out.

I used the fabric again and to cover some canvas wall hangings, and my very talented friend made some vinyl hangings for me to put on top the canvas.

Didn't they turn out cute!

And here is the blanket I made my daughter.

Don't mind the little girl on the blanket, she wouldn't get off.
