Berry Sweet Tweets!

We got in some "Berry Sweet Tweets" this week.

So sweet in fact, that I just might have to drop everything I am doing and get started on this bag right away.

It's pretty much adorable.

And this sweet quilt pattern is next on my list.

Now that summer is finally here, I do believe I better get started on this pattern too!

Good grief, I just don't have time for all these sweet projects!

And now for the "Tweets" that arrived this week....

Tufted Tweets by Laurie Wisbrun.
The Orchid Colorway
The Sorbet Colorway
The Grass Colorway

12 Prints in all.

So many cute projects, sew little time!

All these patterns and prints are listed in the shop, ready for enjoying.

My Monkey is Four!

REMINDER: No shop hours this week!
The shop in my home will be closed Tuesday June15th and Thursday June 17th!

Today is my son's 4th Birthday. And he is napping (we've had a busy morning) so I thought I would share a few projects.
When my son saw me open a box of fabric a few months ago, he squealed in delight.
Monkeys.
He loves monkeys.
And he asked me to make him something with the monkeys.
It took me a few months, but I am FINALLY finished! And just in time for his birthday!

I started with a quilt. Just some basic squares and strips. It was really easy, except for the quilting. Grrrrrr.
I have offically quit trying to quilt on my regular sewing machine.
Too many tears.
He will be able to looks past all the tucks. All he cares about are the monkeys!

And of course he needs a monkey pillow!

I would say pillowcases are my favorite projects. Easy, fast, and adorable!
I just laid out a pillowcase on my fabric and cut it the same size.
Like I said, SEW easy!

Blanket and pillow. The perfect combination for a good rest.

Yup, he looks pretty comfy!

Closed Next Week

Hi all!

The Fabric Store will NOT have open shop hours next week, Tuesday June15th and Thursday June17th.

My home will NOT be open for shopping on those days as I am heading out to do a little fabric shopping of my own and restock our shelves.

The online shop will still be available for browsing and shopping. My husband will be manning it from home. So if you have a FABRIC EMERGENCY (as I know we all do occasionally) you will still be able to place an order online.

Shop hours will resume as normal on June 22nd and 24th!

Feel free to email with any questions you may have!

And now I will leave you with a little sneak peak of some fabric that we are expecting by the end of the week.

Tufted Tweets!
There are 12 prints in all. I just had to order the entire collection. I couldn't help myself :)

What's New

We have added some adorable patterns in the last week.

Portabellopixie Patterns to be exact.
Both the Gracie and Claire patterns include instructions for multiple, adorable creations!

We also have the Girly Stripwork Skirt back in stock!
I know some of you have been waiting patiently.
And the Bella Pants pattern from Pink Fig.
Could that little girl be any cuter!

It snowed at my house on Saturday. Yes, snowed!
So it seems like a great time to break out our new Christmas Prints.

Fruitcake by Basicgrey for Moda Fabrics

I love this line because it is Holiday fabric that isn't loud.
You know what I mean.
Subtle Christmas colors without any Santas or Snowmen staring back at you.
Don't get me wrong, I do love Santas, but this line is elegant.

And three of your favorites from Alexander Henry are back in stock today.

Happy Sewing!

Shop Hours- Making It Easier

I absolutely love having you all in my home to shop for fabric.

I love seeing all your projects and creations.

You inspire me!

I know that calling me to make an appointment for shopping can be a little intimidating, and hard to plan around. So to make your shopping experience at The Fabric Store a little easier, I am opening up shop hours.

My home will be open:

TUESDAYS 9:00am to 12:00pm

THURSDAYS 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Every week!

No need to call or email me for an appointment, just come on over!

If you are unable to come on either of those days, you are still welcome to send me a message and we can work something out. I don't want anyone to feel left out!

Feel free to email me with any questions: asweetbyram@yahoo.com

Here are Directions to my home!

These open hours are subject to change if I have any emergencies arise, so any changes will always be posted at the top of this blog. So just check the blog before you come to be sure I haven't come down with some nasty flu and closed up for the day. I am praying this never happens, as I hate the flu :)

Have a good weekend!

I'm Alive!!!

I know you have all been worried.

I just returned from a 10 day trip to the Holy Land. It was spectacular!

I am pretty exhausted (that Camel ride took a lot out of me), so hopefully I will be able to get some of our new fabrics posted soon! Stay tuned.

The Etsy shop is open again for your shopping pleasure, enjoy!
