As I mentioned before......We are going to be adding another little girl to our family this summer!

I can't wait.

I have already finished the nursery and occasionally I find myself sitting in there just soaking it up.

I want to share with you a few projects I have been working on for the room,

So, without further adieu....

Project Nursery

Perhaps you remember my first nursery project that I showed you a month ago.

I didn't create a tutorial for the bumper pad, but here are few links for great tutorials that I followed:

I was terrified to create my own tutorial for it.  Maybe next time ;)

 For the quilt though, I did take some pictures along the way and here is what I did!

 1- I cut out 48 5"x5" squares out of some of favorite prints from the shop.

2-Then I cut some 5"x1.5" white strips to sew in between each square.

 3. I sewed all 8 rows, and then added a longer (however wide the quilt is) 1.5" white strip in between in each row. And a strip running down each side.

 If I knew how to quilt on my own sewing machine, that would be awesome.

But I don't, so I sent it away to the quilters!

I backed it with Amy Butler's Full Moon Polka Dot in Lime.

I just LOVE how it turned out!

I just might wrap myself up in it. (Darn, I should have made it bigger)

In other news.....

I got my quilts back from the quilters and I am working on the bindings.

I am so giddy over here!

Easter Sale

I haven't forgotten about you all, I promise!

My current projects have taken over.  I will have proof in a few weeks when I get four, yes FOUR quilts back from the quilters. 

Four quilts in two weeks.  I need a nap : ) 

 I can't wait to show them to you all.

I have also been making a few of THESE. 

And by "few" I mean hundreds! 

 I love them. 

They are so simple, so easy, and so cute!

I also made my little sweetheart a twirly Spring skirt with THESE fabrics and THIS pattern. 

And a lot of my time the past two weeks was taken up by this little HUGE project. 

My son's new Space Room.

I used Starburst in Blue from the Hooty Hoot Collection for the curtains and the pillow, and I LOVE how it all turned out.

Busy Busy

My life is Busy Busy!

Sorry for my absence. 

Between chasing toddlers, cutting fabric, growing a baby, and simply just keeping up with life, it seems as though blogging is taking a backseat.  

Where are my priorities, right? :)
