Half Hexi Quilt + A GIVEAWAY!

I am so excited to FINALLY share this quilt with you all!  

I made it back in June, but haven't time to finish it until now, silly moving! 

I made it specifically for my master bedroom and I knew that the Paloma Collection was the perfect choice!

I think my favorite part is the binding!

And the backing is so cute too! It's from the Comma Collection. 

My extremely talented friend Rhonda did the quilting again.  Just simple, but so fantastic!

(Never mind all the wrinkles, I'm sure my iron will get unpacked eventually!)

This quilt was SUPER EASY!  

I folded a 10" square in half, and then used my Hex N More Ruler to cut out two half hexies at once! 

Then I just laid my half hexies out in the pattern I wanted,

And sewed them together one row at a time. All straight lines, and no corners! 

SEW EASY!

New Fabric Friday & Sale!

This past week was BACK TO SCHOOL for us here in Idaho!

It was busy and crazy, but I am loving having some peace and quite around the house.

Not to worry though, Mommy's Helper is making sure I don't get too much rest!

New Fabric Friday.....FINALLY!

Hey all, we are back!

We did a little moving this past month.  It was so fun.......NOT!

I am so glad to finally be settled in and feeling normal.  The great new is that we get to do it all again in one year, as we are just renting for now while we build a new home.  

What a joy.  

But enough about that, let's get down to the fun stuff, THE FABRIC!

New Fabric Friday & Some Housekeeping

I am sooooooooo excited to announce the arrival this collection!

Sasparilla by October Afternoon for Riley Blake Designs

We live in a small town, in Idaho.  And we are cowboys and cowgirls by nature! My son's nursery was cowboy themed, and boy do I wish this adorable collection had been around then!

You've  got your classic reds and browns,

and then these sweet teals and blues,

and the yellows and grays complete the set!

The 10" & 5" Squares should be here next week, but we do have the FAT QUARTER SETS all ready to go!

And now for a little announcement:

I mentioned a week or so ago that we are moving. 

And with moving, comes packing up.

Next WEDNESDAY, JULY 24th will be our last shipment until AUGUST 5th! 

You can still shop around and place orders during that time, but our shipping department will not reopen until August 5th. 

So if you are planning to work on any fabulous projects over the next little while, be sure to get your order in before next Wednesday!
